200 ENTERPRENEURS TO LUNCH INNOVATIVE BUSINESSES.

Microsoft 4 Africa has collaborated with AMPION to help over 200 enterpreneurs across Africa to recieve networking opportunities and mentorship they need to start their own businesses.
The companies provide financial, technical and mentorship support for the 2015 venture bus, fellowship and accelerator programs.
The programme plans to set out with five buses of 40 enterpreneurs to tour across 16 countries in Africa.
During this tour, the enterpreneurs will widen their view through mentorship and visiting of local technology hubs in the spread of seven days in order to help them with business ideas.
Microsoft’s Director of start up Engagement and partnerships, Amrote Abdella stated that they are keen on supporting an innovation ecosystem in Africa and that enterpreneurs who tackle issues create the path for innovative solutions while building sustainable business on the continent.
The first bus has completed its run around West Africa and it started in Cote d’Ivoire, passing through Togo, Ghana and Benin. The tour is meant to stop at th annual Demo Africa Start up event in Nigeria in which Microsoft is sponsoring for the 4th consecutive year.
The tour programs is designed to be intense, competitive and challenging an ideal environment for innovation to thrive
